Day 1
Individual arrival in Konstanz
Take the chance today to visit the flower island Mainau, the fifth season of Lake Constance, or enjoy a ramble through the well preserved old part of Konstanz with the council building, the cathedral, the winding laneways of Niederburg and the Mediterranean Harbour with the famous statue of „Imperia“. Peter Lenk created this controversial monument, for the prostitutes during the time of the Konstanz Council, where between 1414 and 1418 the only meetings of the church north of the Alps occurred. Day 2
Konstanz - Radolfzell - Stein a.R. - Konstanz (ca. 67 km)
From Konstanz you will cycle along the Gnadensee and into the old imperial town of Radolfzell. You will continue on along good pathways over the Höri peninsula to Stein am Rhein, which is full of beautiful houses adorned with frescoes and where you can have an excellent lunch along the Lake promenade. You will continue on along the lakeshore through well-kept Swiss fishing villages on your way back to Konstanz. It’s worth a visit along the way into one of the numerous friendly winegrowers.

Day 3
Konstanz - Friedrichshafen - Bregenz (ca. 65 km)
From Konstanz-Staad you will take the car ferry to Meersburg with its ancient Merovingian castle. You will cycle through vineyards to the Zeppelin town of Friedrichshafen, where the museum and the harbour are worth a look. The tour continues on through orchards to the Bavarian island town of Lindau. With a view of the Alps, you will cycle around the Brengenz harbour and reach the end of your stage for the day.

Day 4
Bregenz - Konstanz (ca. 69 km)
The start of today’s tour will lead you through the Rhein delta, an important nature conservation area. Near Altenrhein you will cross over the border to Switzerland, where you will find the market hall; the last building of the artist Friedrich Hundertwasser. You will cycle back to Konstanz mainly through orchards and the small towns of Arbon and Romanshorn.

Return home or extension of your stay
After breakfast your cycling holiday comes to an end. However, we would be more than happy to extend your stay in the Lake Constance area.
