If you like to cycle longer stretches and want to really feel those calf muscles at the end of your first day you will enjoy this tour around the lake. Starting in Constance the route initially takes you through some very charming countryside along the lower lake. You cycle on to discover the upper part of the lake and some pretty towns and villages, including Meersburg, Lindau and Bregenz. You spend your evenings enjoying the luxury of some very nice mid-range hotels. This rather athletic Lake Constance cycling is for more serious cyclists and the paths are suitable for racing bikes.
