Cycling without luggage –
the luggage service on the Lake Constance cycle path

More than 95% of bicycle tourists plan their journey individually. For these guests we offer our luggage transport. Up to the day before at 4 p.m. the service can be requested from every accommodation on Lake Constance for the next day. Leave the luggage at the hotel desk until 9 a.m. and our drivers will deliver it to your desired destination until 6 p.m. However, it is not possible to arrange a time when the luggage should be handed over. Also it is not possible to leave or pick up luggage at train stations.

Times and prices

  • Daily from 15 April to 22 October 2011, other dates possibly on request.
  • For the first four suitcases you will pay 10 Euros per suitcase (max. 20 kg) and day stage. For every further suitcase you will only pay 2 €.
    Payment either directly at your accommodation or by bill from us.

Have you already planned your journey and you know where you will be staying overnight? Then we recommend to reserve the luggage transport for the entire journey directly with us.

Transport options

Nearly all cyclists tour Lake Constance (more precisely: upper Lake Constance) clockwise, because those who go around the lake to the right, cycle on the lake side of the road, where as cycyling to the left means that the road lies between lake and cycle path. For this reason we only offer our luggage transport clockwise.


Our drivers start and finish in Constance, this means that luggage transports further than Constance won´t be possible under normal circumstances.
For example following stages therefore can´t be booked as a whole:
Arbon-Stein a.R. / Arbon-Meersburg / Arbon-Radolfzell / Radolfzell-Stein a.R. / Überlingen-Radolfzell

We cover these regions:
all places along the shore of  Lake Constance (between Bregenz and Schaffhausen/Neuhausen)
Hegau (up until approximately Gottmadingen, Singen, Stockach)
Linzgau (up until Owingen, Salem)
Oberschwaben (up until Markdorf, Meckenbeuren, Tettnang)

Rheintal (up until approximately Dornbirn, Altstätten)
